Elbert Shaw RYDC PBIS Team Announces Employee of the Month Program
Story support from Elbert Shaw Assistant Facility Director Douglas Hartline
The Elbert Shaw Regional Youth Detention Center (Elbert Shaw RYDC) is pleased to announce its newly instituted Employee of the Month Recognition Program for the facility’s Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program. Each month, the Elbert Shaw RYDC PBIS Team will highlight the quality work of a deserving employee.
The first Elbert Shaw RYDC Employee of the Month is Mrs. April Baker. She began her DJJ career in January 2013 in Food Services before moving into Security in April 2013. Most recently, Baker began work with the Elbert Shaw RYDC Education division.
During her time at the Elbert Shaw RYDC, she has been a positive asset to all of her co-workers. Staying current with her Post-Certification education, Baker is able to assist in many areas throughout the facility. Her co-workers rave about the work ethic of Mrs. Baker stating that “she will literally help anyone who needs it” and that she is “excited and enthusiastic about her job, setting an example for all others.”
The Elbert Shaw RYDC PBIS staff congratulates April Baker for her outstanding achievement.
